I have very little prior experience with technology besides basic searching the internet and using micrsoft word. I don't even know how to use all of the features on my cell phone, and I don't have a fancy one, just the free phone that came with my plan. Frankly, technology scares me. The only websites that I go to on a regular basis are Blackboard, and make online banking account, and every once in a while Facebook

I hope to learn to be more proficient with technology and to learn about different types of technology that I don't currently know how to use. This blogging thing is a first for me. I just recently found out what blogging actually is. I'm still not exactly sure what Twitter is, either. Its rather embarassing sometimes when people are talking about these things that I've never even heard of. I guess I'm sheltered.


When it comes to my learning styles, I learned that I am far more reflective than active. This definitely makes sense because I am an "analyzer". I'm one of those people that mull over the meanings behind things people say, or things that they do. I also learned that I am more intuitive than sensing. I definitely put more weight on my feelings about a situation than the appearances. I am more visual than verbal. When I meet new people, I have a very hard time remembering names, but if I see someone one time, I never forget their face. And lastly, I learned that I am more sequential than global. I am very good at following directions. I can cook pretty much anything as long as I have a recipe, and I can put almost anything together, as long as I have directions.
